About Youth Ensemble
Youth Ensemble (YE) is a youth-led and youth-serving organization based in Stoneridge, Harare, Zimbabwe. Established in 2019, YE works with marginalized peri-urban young people aged 16 to 25, empowering them to take charge of their futures and become leaders of positive change within their communities.
Our work is rooted in community engagement and lived experience. We walk alongside young people, understand their realities, and co-create practical solutions that address economic empowerment, sexual and reproductive health and rights, youth-led climate action, leadership development, and sustainable livelihoods. Through inclusive, grassroots-driven programs, Youth Ensemble strengthens youth agency and creates pathways to dignity, resilience, and opportunity.
Our Programs and Focus Areas
Youth Ensemble delivers integrated programs designed to respond to the real challenges facing young people in marginalized peri-urban communities. Our core program areas include:
Youth Economic Empowerment through entrepreneurship training, skills development, and access to finance
Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights education, advocacy, and safe spaces for young people
Youth-led climate action initiatives promoting green skills, renewable energy, and environmental stewardship
Leadership development and collective youth agency through mentorship, civic engagement, and policy advocacy
Community engagement and social accountability platforms that strengthen youth voice and participation
